The Heart of the Club

Since 1973
the Fastiques Rod & Custom Club
Founded in Tradition
Since 1973, the Fastiques Rod & Custom has been a cornerstone of the Southwest Ohio car community. What started as a small group of enthusiasts has grown into a family of volunteers dedicated to preserving classic craftsmanship and automotive history while serving the community they live within.
Community Impact
We believe that classic cars can drive real change. Through the Pumpkin Run Nationals Car Show & Swap Meet, our members and volunteers have raised over $2 million for local charities, including Shriners Children's Hospital and the Honor Flight Network.
A Volunteer Legacy
Our show is built on the hard work of volunteers who pour their hearts into every detail. From the Thursday morning swap meet set up to the final awards ceremony, everything we do is driven by a passion for cars and a commitment to our neighbors.

The Volunteer Spirit

Every year, we hold an Awards and Appreciation Banquet to recognize the volunteers and supporters who keep our tradition alive.  This is also when we turn your passion into a purpose by making meaningful charitable contributions. A Milestone of Care: We are pleased to announce that the Fastiques have donated $1,670,000 to Shriners Children's Hospital over the course of 25 years... Our Most Recent Impact: We recently donated $93,000 to local charities, with our primary contribution proudly supporting Shriners Children's Hospital. Additional Partners: We are still proud to support the Earth Angel Foundation, the Hillbilly Clan, St. Rita School for the Deaf, Honor Flight Network, and The Dragonfly Foundation.

Our flagship event, The Pumpkin Run Nationals, is a Southwest Ohio tradition. Held each year on the first Sunday of October, with festivities starting the Friday and Saturday before, this show draws over 2,500+ vintage cars and trucks to the Clermont County Fairgrounds in Owensville, Ohio. Now in its 50th year, the Pumpkin Run Nationals isn’t just a car show—it’s a gathering of enthusiasts, families, and the broader community, all coming together to celebrate craftsmanship, nostalgia, and horsepower.

1967 Chevrolet Biscayne

I acquired the car in 1991 with plans to make it a race car. It had a 6 cyl. engine and Powerglide transmission. Plans changed as they tend to do and it was ultimately built as a street car. The engine is a 427 Big Block Chevy with aluminum heads and solid roller cam topped with a TBS 10-71 supercharger with (2) Quickfuel 850 cfm carburetors. The engine runs exclusively on E85. The  transmission is a Turbo 400 with a custom PTC torque converter. Rounding out the drivetrain is a 12 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. The interior is from a 1967 Impala SS. I am proud to say that I did the majority of the work myself. It is painted Marina Blue which is the original factory color.
